This week will be a big challenge for the PSU men’s rugby program as they have 3 matches in 4 days!

The matches will begin on Wednesday evening under the lights as the men will take on the world renowned Cambridge University Rugby Club at West pitch at 7:00pm. CURFC is one of the most respected collegiate programs in the world, and we are very excited and honored that they have chosen to follow in the footsteps of Trinity and Oxford and select Penn State as the location for their US training tour. Clearly a side of their caliber will prove to be tremendous challenge and learning experience for the young PSU A side in their first match of the season. With several key starters still out due to injuries, the opportunity for others to step up and show that they can compete at the elite level will be invaluable to the development of the team, and to a man they are looking forward to being on the pitch and competing with the likes of Cambridge University.

Following this exciting fixture, the B and C sides will square off against the B and C sides from Kutztown University on Saturday at West pitch beginning at 2:00pm. A fellow member of the new Collegiate Premier League, and a long standing rival, the battles between the Nittany Lions and Golden Bears have been fiercely contested for many years, and that is exactly what is expected this Saturday!

Please come out and support the team if you can, and check back for updates here on the website.
