In a scene more reminiscent of St. Andrews (not for the quality of golf being played, but for the amount of rain falling), a brave group of golfers participated in the 2011 Penn State Rugger Open this past Friday.
Perhaps then it was fitting that the foursome lead by our favorite Scotsman took home the top prize this year. The foursome of Fraser Grigor, Brian McWhirter, Ross Franks, and Jason Krasowitz shot a combined 62 in less than ideal conditions to earn the title of Champions of the 2011 Rugger Open.

Penn State Rugby and the organizers would like to thank the Penn State Golf Course, and everyone who participated and worked so hard to make the 2011 Open a success. Fun was had by all, and much needed funds were raised to support our teams.
