In a non-conference matchup against the University of Delaware, men’s rugby picked up the win, 59-19.  The victory brings Penn State’s record to 6-2 (4-1, Rugby East).

Penn State started off the game with back-to-back tries from wing Mike Eife, while Delaware was quick to answer with a try of its own.  The Nittany Lions went on to score three unanswered tries before the Blue Hens put another try on the board.

In the second half Penn State scored three tries from Mike Eife, Malcolm May, and Mike Dabulas while Delaware had one of their own.

On the day, Penn State had eight tries from five different players: Eife, May, Jimmy Haley, Chris Burian, and Dabulas.

The men’s team has a bye week followed by a Rugby East matchup with Iona on October 30th.  Kickoff is scheduled from 6 p.m.
