The Penn State Women’s team kept its undefeated season going but putting away Delaware 46-11. In a windy day, the Lady Ruggers started another new line-up giving some new players a chance to play in the A side game. Delaware came out hard and were leading at half-time 11-10. In the second half the Lady Ruggers used the win and were able to pull away to finish 46-11.
The B side saw 28 different players play as over 50 players played for Penn State on Saturday. The B side used the wind in the first half to go up 24-0, and held out Delaware in the second half to win 24-10.
15 high school recruits were on campus on Saturday to meet the team and learn about Penn State Rugby. It was also our Parent weekend and we want to thank the parents for providing food for over 100 people after the game.
Next up is Princeton at home on Saturday, October 23rd. The kick-off will be early (10 or 11 to be confirmed).
