The Penn State Women start their journey to do something that has never been done before this weekend. The women will play in the MARFU championships and will attempt to win their 3rd National title in a row. The women play Navy at Noon on Saturday, and the 3/4 place game is at 10am on Sunday and the MARFU final is at Noon.
GPS and Google directions can be entered as 855 South New Street, West Chester, Pa. 19382. Please make sure you use 19382, not 19380.
The field is located directly behind Sturzebecker Health Science Center, which is pretty much the largest and only building in the area…so you cannot miss it. Please proceed directly behind Sturzebecker, and our field is in the rear to the far left of the building if you are facing the building from the front. If you look down the hill, we are to the left of the turf field hockey field, and to the right of the baseball stadium.
Parking:
There are a lot of events going on this weekend (especially Saturday) at WCU south campus, so parking is at a premium. There is NO charge for parking, and there will most likely be people directing traffic for parking. Tell the attendants that you are at WCU for rugby, and they will direct you to the closest lot that is available. We will have parking spots for buses. If you are coming in a bus, please let me know.
