Both the women’s and men’s A sides will be heading to NY this weekend for big fall season match-ups with the US Military Academy.
The teams are very excited for their first “true tests” of the fall season, and for the opportunity to travel together and support one another for these big matches.
The matches will be played Saturday October 1st at Army’s outstanding Anderson Rugby Complex, with the women kicking off at 4:00pm and the men kicking off at 6:00pm.
The magnitude that this rivalry has reached is clear to all Penn State rugby fans, and the fact that both teams will be playing on the same day only adds fuel to an already raging competitive fire.
The teams and staff would like to reach out to all friends, family, and alumni to invite those of you who can do so to join us for a tremendous day of rugby, and ask you to come out and support us as we look to take on one of the other top programs on the East Coast head to head on their home turf.
Those of you who are planning on attending these matches should be sure to have ID with you when you look to enter the West Point Academy grounds, and ask for directions to the Anderson Rugby Complex.
