In 3 periods the Penn State Women team pushed the Alumni team all the way. Leading 12-10 heading into the last period the Alumni managed to get the ball over the line with a try by Devon Boyle reaching out over the line and putting the Alumni ahead for good.
The Penn State Women did very well in the game. Both freshman scrum-halves, Elena Cantorna and Brie Barto did well in a position that promises to be very competitive. All the freshman played and did very well in the game.
The women will open the season with a game against Michigan at home on September 18th.
