As September is nearing its end, the Penn State Women’s Rugby team is finally preparing for their first non-intersquad game of the season. Working hard for the past four weeks, the team has showcased their skill in two weekends of intersquad matches, combining the efforts of returning players with those new to the team this year, including a few new to rugby completely.

Along with new players that joined the team at preseason in August, the women’s rugby community has been joined by 15 brand new rookies. Practicing every Tuesday and Thursday, everyone is excited to mix sides and play together in their first rugby game this Sunday.
