The Penn State Men’s and Women’s rugby teams enjoyed a chilly but fantastic Saturday afternoon at West Fields yesterday. This opening weekend of home matches saw the Men face league opponent the University of Delaware, and the Women face Grand Valley State. By days end, through 4 matches (women and men, A and B) the PSU teams had scored over 300 points while begrudgingly allowing one single try to be scored by their opponents.
Next up for both teams will be rivals the United States Military academy, the women will face Army and Kutztown at home on April 6th, while the men will travel to West Point this coming Saturday for their 2nd league match of the spring.
