The Penn State Men’s Rugby Team is pleased to announce their newly elected Captains and Team officers for the 2010-2011 season:
Team Captain – Chris Saint, senior scrumhalf.
Vice/Forwards Captain – Mike Erickson, junior #8
Club President – Joe Baker, junior flyhalf
Vice President – Kevin Casey, junior flanker
Match Secretary – Eric O’Leary, sophomore flyhalf
Also, selected recently were our new Player Board of Directors, Class Representatives:
Freshman Rep. – Jay Mathias
Sophomore Rep. – Chris Calero
Junior Rep. – Mick Newkumet
Congratulations to all recipients, and to the team members for selecting a fine group of young men to lead their team forward. The coaching staff, like the team members are very confident in their collective abilities to be leaders, and I look forward to working closely with them to continue to try and improve our program.
