Congratulations to former PSU standout players Mike Petri, Kim Magrini, and Kate Daley for being selected to our National teams.

Fresh off a Super League championship with NYAC, Mike Petri (15 Caps) made his return to the National team in the Churchill Cup this past weekend in Glendale, Co. Petri saw time in both US matches, starting in their 39-22 win over Russia, and coming off the bench to try and lend a needed spark in their 32-9 loss to the England Saxons. When asked about the weekend, Mike stated “that it was great being back on the National Team, and that it was also great to see all the PSU players and coaches in town for the Collegiate All Stars Tournament”. Next up for Mike and the US Mens National team is a date with France A next Saturday in New Jersey.

The US Womens National team will face Canada in a two match test series June 14th and 18th in BC. Forming the spine of the team selected for the first test today in Shawnigan, BC are #9 Kim Magrini (7 Caps), and #8 Kate Daley (1 Cap). Joining these two former PSU and current Keystone stars on the team is current PSU Womens team Assistant Coach Farrah Douglas (9 caps).

Congratulations to all four of these Penn Staters, and thanks for representing us all on the National teams.

Check back for more information as it becomes available.
